The New York Jets were the visitors at Heinz Field on a brisk Sunday afternoon at Heinz Field. However, the Jets, especially their secondary, wasn’t welcomed with open arms by Ben Roethlisberger.

Roethlisberger threw four touchdowns to seal the win for the Steelers. Two of his touchdown passes went to wide receiver Sammie Coates. Coates had an impressive outing for the Steelers, totaling 139 yards on six receptions. His longest catch was his 72-yard touchdown pass from Roethlisberger. Roethlisberger finished off his day with 380 passing yards on 34/47 completed passes.

The other recipients of Roethlisberger’s touchdowns were Antonio Brown and tight end Jesse James. Kicker Chris Boswell also put up points of his own, with a 47 yard field goal and four converted extra points.

As for the Jets, quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 255 yards on 25/38 completed passes. Fitzpatrick had one touchdown thrown to Brandon Marshall in the second quarter. The rest of the Jets points came from Nick Folk, who converted his two attempted field goals and one extra point attempt.

The defense found Fitzpatrick a couple of times for a few sacks. Vince Williams and Anthony Chickillo each recorded a single sack while Arthur Moats and Lawrence Timmons both teamed up on a sack. Williams led the defense in tackles with eight and one assisted tackle. Meanwhile, Chickillo also recorded a forced fumble.

The Steelers (4-1) will now face the Miami Dolphins (1-4) in Miami on Sunday, October 16 at 1 p.m. The game will be aired on CBS.
