The Bernard Clark era is off and running in Moon Township.
Per multiple reports, Robert Morris has signed three transfers to the football team.
Quarterback Caleb Lewis comes to the Colonials from the Southeastern Conference, specifically, the Louisiana State University Tigers.
The six foot four quarterback should be a welcomed addition to the Colonials as a graduate transfer. He’ll be joining quarterbacks George Martin (Ringgold High School in Monongahela, Pa.), Chase Bodeman and Jimmy Walker.
Terence Stephens Jr. played his high school ball down the road for Bob Palko at West Allegheny. A versatile player, Stephens Jr. displays running prowess and can also catch the ball out of the backfield.
Meanwhile, Stephens Jr. also performed kick return duties at Bowling Green State University.
The third and final addition to the Colonials roster is tight end Steve Petrick. Another local player, coming from Temple University, Petrick weighs in at 230 pounds. He brings size and length to the position.
Each player should make a positive contribution to a team that’s had a rocky road over the past seasons.
For Coach Clark, this looks like a good start as he tries to put his unique stamp on this Colonial football team.
